Manila Ocean Park for family bonding

I recall about Manila Ocean Park of which I would like to share some of the things I have learn and share it with you.It was a nice experience for me to find Manila Ocean Park just behind Quirino Grandstand and around 5 minute taxi ride from the Corporate Inn Hotel of which I stayed wayback October 2009.That day when I came the weather was still in the process of stabilizing since Ondoy hit the country but inspite of that rain does not usually stop me since my husband said don't let the rain stop you if you are going to do something worthwhile.

In this place I have seen sea creatures so close to me.It was awesome.I have seen all kinds of fishes, manta rays, sharks, in the aquarium. The scenario was jaw dropping and I have enjoyed the serenity of the place.

I am sharing this because this is a place for family gathering and for relaxation of mind and soul.I wish that moment my husband was with me but he was calling me on my mobile while he is in Hawaii,U.S.A. and I was in the process of looking to different kinds of all species of sea water that is in the aquarium since that day was a day of my vacation after experiencing the strong winds of Ondoy Typhoon unharmed by the way.But we talked and we have been missing each other.

There is nothing more important in life than to be with your love one.It was a learning experience.

I recommend for tourist to visit this place for your new experience so close with sea creatures so that you will gain more knowledge about sea life.

Indeed, this is are all from God.He is so powerful and magnificent.I really appreciate all what I have seen inside this place.

The food there are also delicious and the restaurants are well done and the people are very approachable and so friendly. The cost of being there is worth it and affordable.

This kind of experience have brought me to realization that it is more life changing knowing that when you encounter this sea creatures for real you will observe how calm and undisturb they are and keep on existing without worries and you will be able to observe the different nature of each species.

The giant clams, the corals, are so cool. This is good for an educational tour for all children and young people to know what exist in our country.I realize how blessed the Philippines is for having such sea creatures that exist in our territory.

Also, I have seen that the Philippine Coast Guard Auxillary is helping the Philippine Coast Guard in protecting our sea.I appreciate all this because I am a member of the PCGA and a certified PADI open water diver but I have never seen so much beautiful creatures in diving as those what is inside the aquarium of the Manila Ocean Park.
It is funny though, I wonder how they constructed this aquarium putting heavy volumes of water in aquarium and putting all sea creatures there alive.

Very Creative.

Underground River 7 Wonders of Nature in the Philippines

What an awesome experience to know about Underground River St. Paul Subterranean Park at Puerto Princesa City,Palawan,Philippines.
I went there November 13,2009 with my colleagues from the Bureau of Fire Protection because I trained the boatmen about fire safety awareness and also fire drill so that they will be prepared in handling the tourist during visits to the most well known underground river.
This place is full of mystery but God created.Whenever I visited underground river I feel this is another life changing experience and after the trip I felt so overwhelmed and happy.

The roads going here are paved and there are forests along the way, sceneries of mountains made of rocks, cliffs and minerals and limestones.

It takes 2 hours travel from Puerto Princesa City to this village by either bus or by private vehicle and rented vans.

If you are up to relaxation this is one of the place you should be and you will be in calm spirit. The beach is clean and there are resorts nearby that you may lodge and other cottages which is very affordable.

Most of all the food are cooked well and delicious home made or specially ordered in restaurants.

I felt special here when the boatmen give us a ride going to Underground River from Sabang Wharf that took 30 minutes before reaching the seashore of the St. Paul Subterranean Park.

Many Foreigners visited this place to experience the tour to the cave which is indescribable.Inside of the cave there are different shapes and sizes of stalagmites and stalactites cruise for one and a half mile of adventure.

Outside of the cave is a brackish water flowing towards the innermost parts of the cave and tourist ride a boat operated by boatman using a paddle and the light use is from the spotlight powered by battery charger.

The monkeys and bats are so excited when visitors come and go as part of the experience you will see all this when you come here.

For the rest of the information just let me know if you want to come here so I can guide you.

Have a wonderful day.Mabuhay and Aloha.

Adventurer's Journey Through Life: Island Hopping,Honda Bay Pambato Reef,Puerto Princesa City,Palawan

Adventurer's Journey Through Life: Island Hopping,Honda Bay Pambato Reef,Puerto Princesa City,Palawan

Island Hopping,Honda Bay Pambato Reef,Puerto Princesa City,Palawan

My brother Diego 111 we are at Snake Island,Honda Bay,Puerto Princesa City,Palawan,Philippines.

It was a sunny day and exciting because my brother Diego 111 and I are going for an adventure to Honda Bay to go to three islands of our choice.

We proceed from Pardeco to fetch Weng as one of our friend to join this trip then we paid tricycle to Honda Bay.We prepared food and extra clothes, water and camera to take pictures but Weng owns it.

When we arrive at Honda Bay Terminal, a man approached us and asked if he and his girlfriend can join in our boat and
His name is War and the other girl name is Racquel. To make our day better so we let them join with us in the boat manned by two operators. The boat were on was named Lala.

It was exciting going to Pambato Reef we watch plenty of corals, snorkeled, seen plenty of fish and we paid 50.00 pesos entrance fee each.Amazing to see underwater live corals and preserved.

At Pandan Island we went swimming and a dog followed us, we went swimming too we drink buko juice and but wow the price over here is high it cost 20 pesos per piece. This Island has structures and cottages. It rained when we got there but we enjoyed the weather, other tourists from different places flocks in the island as if they missed so much of the beach.

While at Snake Island we went and eat a grilled fish which is high price to buy in the island itself cost Php 220.00 per kilo I can't believe it because in the market it cost less than in this island but we ate anyways we are hungry,we ate rice, and snorkeling.

All we did was tour from 7:30 am to 3pm.The boat rent cost 750.00 pesos times two because two people shared with us and paid the other 750.00 pesos so for one boat it cost a total of 1,500 pesos and also had a tricycle ride 100.00 pesos for the three of us going there and returning 90.00 pesos because of the two people that shared with us.

We had fun and seen star fishes, and different schools of fishes.

One snorkeling gear that Diego rented cost 100.00 pesos.
It was a refreshing day on Aug 22,2009.

Typhoon Ondoy Hits Our Church Parsonage Roof

My heart melted upon getting the news that our Narra Fundamental Baptist Church parsonage was struck by the strong wind last Saturday 26 September 2009.Our Pastor and his family moved to the kindergarten school building to seek refuge and we are seeking donations to repair the damage roof because the kindergarten kids need a room for studying, so for those who are willing to participate in donations kindly send it through this site or just e-mail me or send it through Philippine National Bank, Global Filipino Card: Jennifer L. Scimone 5921086929877746 to help out.

As for me, I went to Manila on 29 September 2009 at 5:15 P.M from Puerto Princesa City inspite of the fears surrounding around me I believed it is the will of God for me to travel and so I pursued. I encountered a miracle when the aircraft lifted the sun shimmer through the clouds and the beams came through my window. It was so amazing experience after all the torment of this natural disasters.

God made my travel to Manila from Puerto Princesa a unique experience. When I arrive in Manila there were no more rain that night. On the next day as I was visiting my brother, I saw the level of water in Pasig river was still high. The taxi driver pass through a road wherein there was a flood still but we pass through it and survived.I saw the remains of the flood trash in E. Rodriguez Ave. and clothes hanging outside were still wet.

But as for me God have been good, He protected my journey to accomplish my mission of knowing what is going on in Manila and to renew and change status of my nurse license, and visited my brother in the hospital.

Also I went to the LR Health and Beauty Systems wherein I am connected with.I have experience rain showers while in Manila so at times I felt nervous because of the flooding in some areas but God cancelled the next typhoon Peping while I am in Manila and safe back now in Puerto Princesa City.

And what I am doing now is getting people to donate for the repair of our Parsonage and renovation for the kindergarten school, and we can continue our missionary journey together so we welcome any contributions and well appreciate it.

Feel Free to spend in charity.God loves a cheerful giver.

Medical Missions Involvement International

In this photo is our actual accomplishment of Medical Mission from Kaimuki Christian Church, Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S.A. to Rizal, Cagayan, Philippines on 14 July to 03 August 2008. We served  in this remote area, It was Anthony from Hawaii who invited me as a nurse to give my utmost support for the activities, we were engaged suddenly and so after this mission we got married after a month on September 3,2008 and I am Filipino, while he is American U.S. citizen. We have delivered Dental, medical services with the help of the local government support and distributed eye glasses donated from Hawaii. Our service was voluntary and non-profit.

My heart was touched by the scenario of this people. They all come from different places and walked far to reach us so they can get the benefit of the services.

It was Mercy, Joe, their two daughters Mica,Kyla, Michelle, Debbie that came together from Hawaii and have brought out all the heavy stuffs of medicines of which we give away to the people.Anthony came ahead of them here in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan,Philippines and have met me.I was introduced to the team later after Anthony and I meet them in Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve. If you would like to give help for our future activities it's welcome. We look forward to serving more in the future when the door opens to serve in another country as medical and nurses missionary come together to reach out to those who need healing and does not have always access to medicines and medical check-up.

Each one reach one!

God Bless,

Jennifer L. Scimone, R.N.
